SURP4US 2027 Webinar
Description
If you’re considering a PhD or MD-PhD, the research experience you gain as an undergraduate can help shape your path to graduate school. Next summer, you could take that step at Mount Sinai.
The Summer Undergraduate Research Program for Underserved Scholars (SURP4US) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is accepting applications for summer 2027. Over 10 weeks, you’ll conduct research alongside a faculty mentor in a Mount Sinai laboratory, gaining hands-on experience in an area of biomedical science that interests you. Participants receive a $5,000 stipend and a housing allowance, along with advising and mock interviews with PhD faculty to help prepare for graduate school.
Join us for a virtual information session. You’ll learn about the research experience, program eligibility, and what makes a strong application, with time to ask your own questions.
